I'll be honest, university nearly broke me. I landed on academic probation, and for the first time in my life, I genuinely doubted whether I had what it took to succeed. Born in Zimbabwe and having moved to Canada to chase my dreams, that moment felt like everything was falling apart.

It was during that period that I discovered public speaking. Not as a performance skill, but as a way of thinking clearly, showing up fully, and saying the things that actually needed to be said. That discovery changed everything for me.

What started as a personal necessity became a serious pursuit. I joined Toastmasters in 2018, competed at various levels, and in 2022 made it to the quarterfinals of the World Championship of Public Speaking. But the more I grew as a communicator, the more I noticed something: the problem wasn't just personal. Organizations were losing real performance every day because the right people weren't saying the right things in the right rooms. The silence wasn't random and it was costing something. That became the work.

Today I help organizations identify where silence is draining their performance, and give leaders and teams the tools to close that gap. I've coached hundreds of professionals globally and delivered keynotes and workshops for organizations including Scotiabank, Maxwell Leadership, and the DMZ, a world leading technology incubator.

What drives me isn't just the individual breakthroughs, though watching a leader finally say the thing they've been holding back never gets old. It's the moment an organization realizes that communication isn't just a soft skill. It's a business problem. And when you solve it, business growth gets unlocked even more.
